Hello! My name is Matt Merry. For the most part, people call me by my entire name “Matt Merry”. I recently graduated from the fantastic Belmont Abbey College near Charlotte, NC with a degree in Theology. I am currently working in college campus ministry at Elon University near Burlington, NC. I work very closely with students in trying to help them grow closer to Christ throughout this time of many questions. From debating hot issues like abortion and contraceptives to providing a comforting 6 hour Disney Movie Marathon during exams, I try to be whatever the students need me to be.

For those of you who know me, thanks for supporting me. I am who I am mostly because of you and how you, the Body of Christ have helped raise me and form me. For those of you who don’t, I’ll try to explain myself in a paragraph. Here goes nothing…

I have lived in NC my whole life. I lived in Durham for half of my life and Cary for the other half, so far. I have no idea where I will end up but I can’t wait to see what God has in store. I like sugary cereals, meat, beer, mountains, and all things man. However, I also like some things not so man. For example, I really enjoy art, classical music, calligraphy, watching chick flicks with my little sister, and yes, R&B music. I have a very wide variety of musical enjoyment and almost just as much that I dislike. I enjoy running, biking, sleeping, eating, breathing, most things that are in my life, I enjoy. God has blessed me so much and through this website and my relationship with Christ, I hope to share a little bit of joy with you if you’ll let me.
